As an Opposite Hitter and the first player to graduate from Coffman with 4 Varsity Volleyball letters, Lauren knew the game inside and out. She played relaxed and confident adding a positive energy to the court. Her demeanor transfered to other teammates allowing them focus on the task at hand. Her best match was in the District Finals against Olentangy Liberty. Liberty was focusing on shutting down our Outside Hitter and Lauren took over to cause havoc from the right side.

She was 2nd on the team in kills and in assists in 2007, earning the "Best Offensive Player" award. What was great about Lauren’s was her ability to place the ball anywhere on the court. She had a very tough serve that was difficult to receive. Her experience and smart decision making made her invaluable to the team.
